## Internet Raised Me

The Internet is the best invention of human kind and not only best but foundational one which changed the course of the world completely and touched every living being in one way or another.

Before AI agents, Influencers selling courses, there was an Internet full of strangers, who shaped careers of people like me in the form of blog authors, open-source maintainers, random community members and of course people answering Stack Overflow questions.

Back then for all the answers to your questions there was only one place, The University of Google. Googling was like debugging a code, endless searches, blog posts, Stack Overflow, Github issues, Codpen examples, YouTube tutorials. Every problem was solved by someone somewhere, all you have to do is ask the right question.

The Internet is far more clamorous today than when I first started, more bots, more distractions but it’s still changing lives and I’m certain it will keep doing so for those curious enough to explore it. I know because it changed mine.

## XBOX cloud gaming in india

**I bought XBOX essential gaming pass and the experience was really impressive**

I wanted to see if cloud gaming could actually replace buying a console, so I spent a month testing XBOX Cloud Gaming with the $5 Essential plan, which includes 50+ games which includes Batman: Arkham Knight, League of Legends, Call of Duty Warzone, Asphalt Legends, Halo Infinite and many more. If you are looking for affordable gaming options then this is the best alternative to gaming consoles.

So there are basically 4 subscription options, Essential $5/m, Premium $7/m, $11/m and for PC only $9/m. With 3 main subscriptions you can play games on any compatible device, for those who don’t want to spend $600-$800 on consoles, this is the most affordable gaming setup. (Prices may vary by region, it’s best to check official website)

Now if we talk about controllers then if you want to purchase an official XBOX controller then perfect but if it feels a bit costly then any cheap bluetooth controller will do the work. I’m using $15 Evofox bluetooth controller which you can find easily on Amazon.

If we talk about new XBOX CEO Asha Sharma then she has already taken many positive steps just after joining and she has a very ambitious goal to make XBOX no. gaming company by 2030.

## Looks like a ferrari, works like a cycle

**we are in a kind of economy where it's fine if it works like a cycle but it must look like a Ferrari.**

When I started my career building software was constrained by time. If a product is looking good then there’s possibility that a team has spent weeks or months in refining, polishing and testing it make it better.

But today a single developer can generate landing pages, marketing banners, logos and even whole applications in a matter of a few hours and the result? Products which look like Ferraris until you drive them.

It all looks promising and revolutionary until you actually try it, half the features don't work, there are tons of errors and warnings in the console, security lapses and we better not talk about code because as a developer I might lose my sanity.

When creating something becomes easier, people feel this urge to create more and more without looking at quality. Users don’t care how quickly your product was built, they care whether it works. People don’t buy Ferrari because it’s fast, they buy it because it performs. If speed was everything then why we don’t have another Google, Palantir, Figma or Github?

## Well this sums up current job market

**Some might feel pain while reading this but it's ok, this will pass too. I know recruiters are looking for apples, oranges and bananas on mango tree but they will come back to senses once dust settles.**

## Internet is dead

**Your beloved internet is taking its last breath thanks to you**

The Internet used to be the best and most beautiful invention of humans. A place where people shared their weird thoughts, knowledge, experiences and it felt soulful.

Now? It feels like we handed it to bots and they have massacred our beautiful boy. It’s no longer a “by the people, for the people” anymore but more like “by the bots, for the engagement”. And the best part? You can’t tell what’s real anymore.

At one time Social media used to reward people with authentic content but now authentic content doesn’t stand a chance against this slop-fest.

Platforms like X are fighting bots day & night to make the experience better but it’s like emptying the ocean with a spoon. Then there’s Linkedin which was already declining, AI just gave it a final push. You open it for 2 minutes and now all you need is an eye bleach.

## Academic Paradox

**Academic reward compliance but real world reward curiosity**

The other day, out of curiosity, I started exploring deep learning. And suddenly I was looking at matrices, derivatives, the chain rule, linear algebra, all the things that once tormented my teenage life.

I took a deep breath and realized that in 4 years of college none of these clicked but the moment I deep dived out of curiosity, numbers, formulas and everything felt alive in front of my eyes. Why? I wasn’t looking for grades, I was looking for answers to my questions.

In HBO’s Silicon Valley there’s one saying of Peter Gregory, “Don’t go to college, instead work at McD or Burger King. College is a joke on the poor”. It is a bit harsh but it indicates a very uncomfortable truth about the education system. Students keep chasing schooling instead of actually learning. Subjects were never the problem but the system was.

Beyond Coding

## In an era of machines, we created a human

**I became a father recently and I can promise you that there’s no better feeling in the world**

The last year has been a hell of a ride. Obviously there’s an added responsibility but more than that it's the best blessing of my life and for the first time I felt like I'm taking life seriously, becoming a man.

For any man it’s an important milestone of life, the most important aspect is that you start understanding your father and this changes everything inside you because it answers all the questions you had when you were younger.

I’m losing some sleep, gained some weight, and have very little free time but I’m truly living in the moment and I think that’s what is important.

## Habibi come to Dubai

**Dubai felt like home away from home**

![burj-khalifa](https://upadhyayaman.me/placeholder.png)![dubai](https://upadhyayaman.me/placeholder.png)![palm-jumeirah](https://upadhyayaman.me/placeholder.png)

## A walk among the strangers

**There’s nothing more spiritual than exploring another country alone**

I went to Dubai alone, why? Because my Internet friend who I have never met in person texted me one day, “Come here”. I booked my flight without any hesitation flew there and I must tell you I want everyone on this planet to experience at least once in their lifetime

Brahmam, the realisation of true self and union with ultimate reality. Absolutely nothing can top this experience.

I promise, you will dicover new “YOU” because I did because when self realisation hits you million miles away from home it changes you, it makes you better.
